Project "RESURGENCE"

A world full of ideals within an existing reality. A world full of inspiration, authenticity and connection. Everything is possible and no thing too much since acceptation is at the root of this world. This is what RESURGENCE, a photography installation with tangible elements, is all about. Visitors are not only invited but encouraged to live up to their own ideals, pursue their happiness and leave behind judgement of others. RESURGENCE is based on the creator’s ideals- a fusion of nature and industry, as well as people, personalities and styles. The dream-like pictures refer to a utopian life while the obvious man-made elements keep both our feet at the ground even whilst fantasising. 

 

RESURGENCE is a project that aims to connect people with themselves, their surroundings and other people. By showing an example of a world in which reality and idealities connect while supporting these visuals with texts and physical objects, the visitor will be invited to explore their own ideals and think about how their current lives live up to these visions. 

By combining different types of visualisations of the ideal world, the visitor will get fully immersed in the idealities of the creator of the project. These idealities reflect certain aspects of a world that’s long left behind with parts that have never emerged before. A world in which cellphones and uniformity are not a thing, where people connect spontaneously and actively and where everyone can be and dress as expressively as they’d like.
